You are: A DevOps Engineer, who enjoys using new technologies to help our clients increase the pace and efficiency of solution delivery. You will design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient SaaS solutions to align with enterprise architecture. Also, apply SaaS principles such as multi-tenancy and modularity, define customization limits, and guide platform use to ensure performance and maintainability. The work: Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all upgrades and enhancements to these systems, with a focus on transitioning the runtime environment from EC2 to a containerized platform, specifically ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift on AWS). You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive upgrade plan while ensuring the platforms remain stable, secure, and scalable. Additionally, you will manage the entire infrastructure supporting these platforms, leveraging an established infrastructure-as-code approach to maintain consistency and efficiency. Refining and expanding automation capabilities to streamline the management of the LMS platforms

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in LMS
  • Minimum 1 year of Moodle experience
  • 2 years' experience working with AWS-hosted applications and a strong understanding of networking principles.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as OpenShift, and infrastructure automation frameworks
  • Expertise in managing cloud-based environments and a proactive approach to implementing modern solutions.
  • The ability to adapt and enhance automation tools to meet evolving platform needs
  • US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
  • Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs
  • Experience in software development and agile methodologies in a collaborative environment using Git or Subversion
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting production workloads, including using application and system monitoring tools
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP

Responsibilities
