About The Position

The LMS Administrator at Lewis Tree Service, Inc. is responsible for managing the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting talent management initiatives. This role focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of training processes, ensuring compliance with training regulations, and enhancing the overall learning experience for employees.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science or related field required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in learning management systems, content management, or talent development required.
  • Experience with learning management systems required.
  • Experience using Articulate 360 and SumTotal strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor new hire training and ensure timely completion and effectiveness of training.
  • Follow up with designated Trainers or Managers to ensure training completion.
  • Administer evaluations to trainees to assess training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure employees are enrolled in appropriate courses/modules based on position and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor course content, completions, and evaluation processes to ensure timely completion.
  • Create learning objectives in the LMS, including online classes, videos, and materials.
  • Maintain data integrity rules and processes for the LMS.
  • Investigate and resolve data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Compile metrics for monthly usage reporting and training content adoption.
  • Develop standardized LMS operational SOPs.
  • Ensure training content runs properly without interruption and verify no technical issues exist.
  • Provide end-user troubleshooting and issue remediation.
  • Monitor recurring issues and proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies and enhancements.
  • Work with the Talent Department to support learning activities within the LMS.
  • Create and maintain compliant training records and files.
  • Ensure all employees comply with state and federal training regulations.
  • Update and maintain training and collateral resources.
