The Maintenance/Turnaround (TA) Planner will become familiar with the refinery organization and work processes while learning refinery safe work practices. This role carries overall responsibilities for safety, environmental compliance, procedure adherence, planning, execution, coordination of engineering, purchasing, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance and turnaround activities assigned to them. The incumbent will help drive the planning process and communicate the planning and execution status of all associated work, ensuring that milestones are met through the completion of the project. This position is ideal for someone who is deadline-driven, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can work effectively within a project team environment. Candidates must possess a Construction Management degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, and co-op or internship experience is preferred. A valid driver's license and eligibility for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) are also required. The TWIC is necessary for unescorted access to regulated facilities, as mandated by the Maritime Transportation Security Act. The role involves directing contractors, developing scopes of work, and maintaining an up-to-date backlog of work to be planned and executed.
