About The Position

The Los Lunas Schools is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the LLHS program. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for coaching and mentoring student-athletes in the sport of wrestling. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the head coach to develop training programs, assist in practice sessions, and support the overall athletic program at LLHS.

Requirements

• Employment as a teacher preferred.
• Valid Coaching License.
• Coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting wrestling practices.
• Provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes in wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Help in the organization and management of wrestling competitions and events.
• Support the academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment for all participants.
