About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all live bird in the caging racks system are unloaded and loaded off and on the trucks in a timely manner, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering always to humane handling policies of live birds and adhering to all other SVO policies

Requirements

Must have the ability to work in all-weather environments (snow, rain, ice, sun)
Must be able to adhere and follow humane policy at all times
Must have the ability to maneuver the lift in a tight congested work area
Must have the ability to be trained to use a lift operator safely
Must have the ability to get lift operator certification
Must have the ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to efficiently and safely unload and move cage racks off truck to loading dock and then empty racks back onto truck
Must be able to maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Must be able to rotate in all live hang rotations as needed.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Work in all-weather environments
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
Willingness to work Other job duties as needed or assigned by Supervisor
Occasionally will help with the removal of the truck plastic cover and the unstrapping of cages.
Must have good attendance
