About The Position

Pax8 Studios is seeking a Live Production Specialist II to be a technical cornerstone of our Denver HQ experience. This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for a broadcast production expert who thrives in live environments, embraces innovation, and keeps their cool when the pressure is on. You’ll help power executive broadcasts, global hybrid events, livestreams, and VOD content—while modernizing studio infrastructure and shaping how Pax8 tells its story, live. Pax8 Studios sits at the heart of our Denver HQ, serving as an immersive production environment for partners, leaders, and internal teams. Since opening the new HQ, live production has become a critical business function, and this role is essential to scaling that impact. You’ll collaborate closely with: Pax8 Studios production teams HQ Experience & Events partners Remote and in‑person global stakeholders

Requirements

  • Technical Experience 3–5+ years in broadcast‑quality livestreaming, studio, or remote production
  • Deep expertise in AV over IP (NDI) and REMI workflows
  • Hands‑on experience with: vMix, Tricaster, Blackmagic, Wirecast, OBS PTZ, broadcast, and DSLR cameras LED video walls and signal routing
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Problem Solving & Leadership Calm and decisive under live‑production pressure
  • Strong understanding of networking, IT, and production systems
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects
  • Excellent communicator across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Collaboration & Mindset Customer‑service driven and solutions‑oriented

Responsibilities

  • Build & Scale Live Production Workflows (25%): Design scalable workflows for All Hands, Destination HQ, and major initiatives Establish best practices that improve quality, efficiency, and reliability Partner with HQ Experience teams to deliver immersive live and recorded experiences
  • Innovate Livestream & VOD Capabilities (25%): Develop livestream and VOD content that supports sales, storytelling, and executive messaging Research, test, and integrate new technologies including: LED video walls Animated graphics Talkback & comms systems Modern broadcast networking
  • Own Broadcast Infrastructure (20%): Support advanced broadcast control rooms and studio systems Build workflows for global, multi‑region, REMI, remote, and hybrid productions Contribute to long‑term technical initiatives beyond daily production needs
  • Execute High‑Stakes Live Events (15%): Lead technical execution during live and hybrid events Operate and manage cameras, signal flow, and equipment configuration Troubleshoot complex issues in real time—without losing momentum
  • Standardize & Improve Production Tools (15%): Develop and maintain vMix, Tricaster, and production templates Support internal and remote operators Continuously improve workflows through automation, testing, and iteration
