About The Position
A wonderful family on the Upper West Side is seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and detail-oriented full-time live-in housekeeper to join their household. The ideal candidate will be able to run and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment and have a lovely demeanor. The general schedule will be from Wednesday morning through Sunday at 12pm. The accommodations consist of a private bedroom and bath. This position is open to local candidates only.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a housekeeper in a private residence or similar setting
- Strong English communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Discreet, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of all rooms and common areas
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Organization of closets, storage areas, and household supplies
- Light meal preparation and assistance with grocery shopping
- Occasional errands and household management tasks
- Care for household items, furnishings, and linens
- Able to assist with Dinner parties
