About The Position
A private family based across Brooklyn, the Hamptons, and Sunny Isles, Florida is seeking a professional, energetic, and highly organized Live-In Family Assistant to support the seamless day-to-day operations of their household. This position combines hands-on household management, meal preparation, laundry, and occasional childcare support for 2 young children. The ideal candidate is discreet, proactive, and dependable, with a strong service-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-location home. The schedule runs Friday through Monday, 40 to 50 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and service-driven professional seeking a long-term role with a warm and collaborative family.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and emotionally intelligent
- Ability to pivot and adapt in a fast-moving household
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a household or family assistant role
- Valid passport required
- US work authorization required
- Willing to relocate, if not already local; relocation assistance open for discussion
- Excellent, verifiable references
- No driving requirement

Responsibilities
- Meal prep and cooking for the family
- Laundry management throughout the home
- General household organization and tidying
- Light organization projects as needed
- Occasional childcare supervision when parents are away
- Morning support during children’s wake-up routine
- Occasional evening coverage through approximately 9:30pm to 10:00pm
