About The Position

The position is for a live-in caregiver responsible for providing compassionate care to an 88-year-old client with advanced dementia in Potomac, Maryland. The caregiver will ensure the client's safety and well-being through continual supervision and assistance with daily activities, including personal care and companionship.

Requirements

• Experience with a manual Hoyer lift is mandatory.
• Ability to lift clients as needed.
• Compassionate and dedicated approach to caregiving.
• Experience working with elderly clients, particularly those with dementia.

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide continual supervision to ensure the client's safety.
• Assist with incontinence care, bathing, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Engage the client in activities such as singing, reading, and conversing.
• Help with transfers and mobility using a manual Hoyer lift.
• Offer companionship and support to improve the client's daily life.
