Requirements

  • Prior experience as a live-in caregiver, home health aide, or PCA preferred.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Confidence with safe transfers and basic housekeeping/cooking.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain awake/alert for overnight safety checks.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and mindful of privacy in a client’s home.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care with Dignity – Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility exercises.
  • Healthy Home & Meals – Plan, prep, and serve nutritious meals; keep the home tidy with light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Medication & Wellness Oversight – Provide timely reminders and track basic health indicators.
  • Companionship & Engagement – Chat, play games, accompany walks, and support social outings or errands.
  • Family & Team Communication – Maintain clear, respectful updates with loved ones and the care team.
