Requirements

Proven experience as a caregiver is preferred (C.N.A is not required, but experience as a Personal Care Worker (PCW) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred.) CBRF Training is also preferred but we will train the right candidate.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethics
Physical endurance
High school diploma or equivalent
Candidates must also pass a caregiver background check.
Our ideal candidate will be available to work a rotating schedule of 7 days on and then 7 days off, MONDAY to MONDAY.
We do ask that you have a reliable vehicle with insurance but may have opportunities to hire you without it if you are the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Help clients take prescribed medication
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Help clients with physical therapy exercises
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
