Live In Caregiver
About The Position
Masonicare at Home is Masonicare's non-medical homecare agency, currently hiring private caregivers and homemakers for live-in or hourly live-out work throughout Connecticut. The agency offers 24/7 assignments with time off provided on request. Many clients are located in Masonicare facilities across CT (Wallingford, Mystic, Chester, and soon Shelton, Farmington, Newington), with community-based clients also available. Hourly services require a 3-hour minimum. The role involves providing one-on-one care to clients for various reasons, including post-hospital/rehab discharge, hospice/end-of-life care, Alzheimer’s care and monitoring, and helping clients maintain safety and independence at home or in assisted/independent living settings. Training is provided for those willing to learn and with reliable transportation.
