We are currently seeking a live-in caregiver to provide one-on-one, in-home care for a client located in Ashford, Connecticut. This is a consistent opportunity where you will make a meaningful impact while helping a client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. What You Will Do As a live-in caregiver with CareCo, you will support your client in their home and help maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Compassionate and patient
- Comfortable working independently in a live-in environment
- Able to follow care plans and instructions
- Available for one of the listed live-in schedules
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to cook simple meals
- Ability to be consistently punctual and reliable
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a strong advantage, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily routines
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Preparing simple meals
- Light housekeeping and errands
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Communicating with the CareCo team as needed
- Providing attentive presence and support throughout the day and overnight
