FULLTIME LIVE IN CAREGIVER
About The Position
Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence. We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced individual to provide support to one of our live-in clients. This client is an older female client and is located in the Hatboro-Horsham, PA area. She is a social woman, who enjoys watching television, sports and playing games. This client is of sound mind, on oxygen, and hard of hearing. She suffers from arthritis and has mobility issues that will require a gentle and patient approach. This particular client uses a Hoyer lift and will also require assistance with personal care and light housekeeping. FT LIVE IN POSITION $160-$180 (EVERYDAY)
Requirements
- Must have a current Tuberculosis (PPD) Test 2-Step Skin Injection/Chest X-ray/Quantiferon Blood Work)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts preferred
Responsibilities
- Interact and engage with client through conversation, games, and emotional support.
- Assist individuals with personal care needs such as toileting, dressing, grooming, showering, oral hygiene, meal prep, etc.
- Must be physically capable of assisting client with mobility issues, transportation, and ambulation.
- Remind client to take the correct dosage of the correct medication at the appropriate time as prescribed.
