About The Position

The Live-In Caregiver position at FCP Live-In LLC is designed for certified nursing assistants (CNA), home health aides (HHA), or personal care assistants (PCA) who are passionate about providing care to the elderly in a home setting. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and promoting their independence in a familiar environment.

Requirements

• Certified CNA, HHA, or PCA with experience working with the elderly.
• Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations.
• Successful clearance of state, federal, and company background and reference checks.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work throughout New England.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Oversee medication and provide reminders.
• Engage in companionship and social activities with clients.
• Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
• Shop for groceries and household items, and run errands.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.
• Perform homemaking activities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide specialized care for clients with Dementia/Alzheimer's and hospice care.
