About The Position

The Assistant Management Team position at Hawthorn Senior Living is a training opportunity aimed at developing future managers for their Independent Living Communities. Requirements

• Proven customer service background.
• Strong management and supervisory experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team with Managers and staff.
• Willingness to live on-site in an assigned apartment.
• Prior management experience including operational and financial management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role is an asset.
• People management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of day-to-day operations of the retirement community.
• Work closely with Community Managers to ensure resident happiness and financial occupancy.
• Support the Managers in maintaining a safe and motivating work atmosphere for staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff, ensuring confidentiality of information.
• Participate in training and development to prepare for future management roles.
