About The Position

Position summary Hang live birds in a moving shackle on a conveyor belt about waist level. Essential Functions Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Pick up birds according to animal welfare guidelines and place in a moving shackle. · Rotate along different positions on the live hang production line. · After training, must be able to hang 25 birds per minute. · Cross trained to operate the cage dumper · Comply with all plant policies · Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to immediate supervisor or plant management. · Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and hang live birds weighing 7.0-11.00 for 100% of the workday
• Standing/walking 100% of the workday
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion
• Must be able to work in a hot and dusty environment

Nice To Haves

• 2 years live hanger experience
• High school graduate
