Come join a growing team and affordable midwestern city. 2 NEWS is searching for a part-time “Live Drive 2” operator who will operate a live-capable station vehicle for news, weather, and traffic coverage. The candidate must be a strong communicator and comfortable driving a vehicle for several hours at a time. Candidate must be flexible to work any shift – including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Requirements

Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Clean driving record
Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including cars, SUVs, vans, or ENG trucks

Responsibilities

Operate a live-capable vehicle, “Live Drive 2,” during morning newscasts for traffic, weather, and news coverage
May be asked to contribute voiced live reports during newscasts
May be asked to shoot still photos or video on an as-needed basis
May be asked to drive a live reporter during extreme weather situations
Other duties as assigned
