About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our external and internal guests. In all interactions, the position is responsible for providing STAR Experience to guests and fellow team members a first priority. Shooting Star Casino team members will always deliver excellent guest service to our guests and fellow co-workers. Our Star Service expectations include being: WELCOMING – Make every person feel invited and accepted PROACTIVE – Anticipate Guest needs UNIQUE – Create a one-of-a-kind experience at every opportunity RESOURCEFUL – Resolve the need COMPLETE – Take care and close To maintain a clean and safe environment for our daily operations Washes dishes, utensils, floors, ETC and organizes them in proper areas. Cleans coolers, grease traps, and server areas, hallways, storage areas, dish room and kitchen. Removes garbage, empties mop buckets, removes soiled rags. Reports all malfunctioning of improperly operating equipment to proper supervisor. Listens and responds to guests concerns to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction Refers guests to the appropriate department or function for issue resolution. Maintaining a safe environment for internal and external guests. Maintains sanitation standards throughout the restaurant for daily operations Clean and refill dish machine after each shift. Maintain chemical levels in sinks, ordering and using proper chemicals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must meet the requirements as prescribed by the Tribal-State compact for gaming.
  • Knowledge on information that relates to specific safety policies and procedures.
  • Skills in operating all kitchen equipment.
  • Skills of developing and maintaining a positive relationship with external and internal guests.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to be self-motivated.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to identify and carry out actions to achieve goals while considering possible risks to effectively develop long and short-range company objectives.
  • Ability to follow procedures and give attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • One month of experience is preferred.
  • Alcohol awareness, safe food handling.
