About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and procedures, particularly in litigation, family law, and estate planning. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to our attorneys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology.
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in data entry and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all documentation.
• Perform data entry tasks related to case management systems.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and other parties involved in litigation.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
• Provide clerical support as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
