About The Position
King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our Product Liability & Mass Torts practice in one of our offices located in Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Houston, or Dallas. This full-time position is integral to providing paralegal support to our litigation team and will report directly to the Director of Administration. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process, particularly in managing large cases from discovery through trial. This role requires coordination with clients and co-counsel throughout all phases of discovery, ensuring that all facets of the case are managed effectively. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for organizing and maintaining case files, preparing and maintaining issue, subject-matter, witness, and deposition files. The candidate will also review and analyze discovery requests, assist lawyers with discovery responses, and coordinate document reviews with the legal team, clients, and vendors. Proficiency in preparing court filings and experience with e-filing is essential. The role demands a high level of detail orientation and organizational skills, as well as the ability to keep accurate time records and prepare witness files and deposition preparation files. In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate should possess in-courtroom trial experience and be available to provide onsite trial support at multiple trials each year. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
