We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal with hands-on experience supporting U.S. (especially New York State) litigation. The ideal candidate has strong English proficiency, practical experience drafting court pleadings (complaints, motions, etc.), and the ability to navigate litigation workflows with accuracy and independence. This role is essential for ensuring that filings, deadlines, and case documentation are handled efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

  • At least 1+ year of hands-on experience in U.S. litigation, ideally NYS litigation
  • Experience drafting litigation documents (motions, complaints, procedural filings)
  • Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • Familiarity with NYSCEF or other U.S. electronic filing systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Professional work ethic and commitment to client service

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal Certificate or legal education (LLB/JD equivalent)
  • Experience in a boutique litigation firm
  • Familiarity with U.S. litigation procedures beyond NYS (Federal courts a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Draft and assist with preparing litigation documents, including complaints, motions, and affidavits.
  • File pleadings through NYSCEF and manage court-related documentation.
  • Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings.
  • Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and third parties regarding case updates and required information.
  • Organize case files, discovery materials, and litigation correspondence.
