About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of litigation processes. This role is essential in supporting attorneys in various aspects of case preparation and management, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law office is preferred.
• Familiarity with PCLaw or similar practice management software is advantageous.
• Strong writing skills with an emphasis on clarity and precision in legal documentation.
• Knowledge of litigation procedures and terminology is essential.
• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality submissions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in housing law is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage case files using Document Management Systems, ensuring all documents are properly organized and easily accessible.
• Proofread all legal documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting before submission.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation.
• Perform administrative tasks as required to support the legal team effectively.
