POSITION SUMMARY This position supports assigned Senior Paralegal and Attorneys on the Single Events team with all aspects of litigation administrative and case management. The role is detail orientated with strong organizational skills.

Requirements

2-3 years prior legal experience (personal injury preferred)
2-3 years prior office administration experience (preferred)
Experience handling voluminous case loads
Familiarity with general litigation tasks
Excellent communication skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Ability to independently manage time effectively

Responsibilities

Maintain case files in case management software
Collect incident reports, insurance information, and other evidence
Communicate extensively with team and attorneys
Communicating with insurance companies and opposing counsel
Consistently following up with insurance adjusters and third parties until the completion of a task
Assist in preparation of litigation files, filings, discovery, motions, trial preparation
Maintain an organized filing system, updating when needed
Performs duties and directives as given by their case managers and attorneys to process requests, emails and administrative requests.
Mails checks, letters, and other requests
Understands PI processes and needs to assist case paralegals and attorneys with properly and promptly setting up new files until the completion of all initial tasks
Assist remote team members in completing in-person tasks and duties as requested
