About The Position
Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking a Career Associate with 7+ years of civil litigation experience to join our Litigation Business Unit, in any US office location. Fully remote work arrangements also will be considered. Our Career Associate program offers top legal talent an alternative to the partner track while still providing opportunities to do cutting-edge and deeply substantive legal work. Lawyers join us as Career Associates at many stages, from recent graduates to more senior lawyers who join after practicing in other settings. Requirements
- Candidates should have meaningful experience with complex civil litigation.
- Strong academic credentials and a writing sample are required.
Responsibilities
- General case team support.
- Strong research skills.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
- Managing discovery tasks, including e-discovery.
- Case and project management.
- Deposition and trial preparation projects.
- The ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
