About The Position
Our client is seeking a Career Associate with 7+ years of civil litigation experience to join their Litigation Business Unit, in any US office location. Fully remote work arrangements also will be considered . Their Career Associate program offers top legal talent an alternative to the partner track while still providing opportunities to do cutting-edge and deeply substantive legal work. Lawyers join us as Career Associates at many stages, from recent graduates to more senior lawyers who join after practicing in other settings. These are rewarding roles if you share our passion for practicing law and delivering excellent service but seek a lower annual-time commitment.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 7+ years' experience with complex civil litigation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school & Strong Academic Credentials.
- Active Massachusetts Bar Membership in Good Standing
- Strong analytical, writing, and research skills with the ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- AM Law 100 – 200 experience a Strong Plus
Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Developing and implementing litigation strategies, conducting legal research, and analyzing complex cases.
- Managing document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
- Attending court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations; maintaining communication with clients.
- Assisting with witness preparation and exhibit organization.
