This role is ideal for a passionate advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and committed to delivering top-tier legal representation for our personal injury clients. You will handle a full litigation caseload, with the support of a dedicated team.

Requirements

Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school
Current member and in good standing of the Texas Bar
Minimum of 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Trial experience preferred
Commercial case experience a plus
Experiencing litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases a plus

Responsibilities

Handle and manage Personal Injury files from file through trial.
Work up litigation files from filing the lawsuit, writing discovery and depositions, and trying the case.
Willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff and other lawyers.
Successfully lead a litigation team of 5 plus people.
Litigate a case from beginning to end.
Have good work ethics and present strong attention to detail.
Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
Experience in supervising and managing other team members.
Pre-Litigation case management and negotiation experience.
Experience handling cases involving commercial motor vehicles.
Willing to expand knowledge of trucking litigation and obtain board certification in truck accident law.
Willing to work independently yet be accountable.
