Seyfarth Shaw LLP, an international law firm with approximately 1000 attorneys, has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience for a position in its Seattle office.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of complex commercial litigation experience in a law firm; trial experience is a plus
• Experience preparing and arguing pleadings and contested motions (such as complaints, motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, applications for temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunction)
• Experience taking and defending depositions and working with expert witnesses
• Desire to support fast moving deadline-driven cases, such as non-compete litigation and actions to protect trade secrets, where we represent clients as both plaintiffs and defendants
• Stellar writing ability and excellent academic credentials, as writing ability is critical for this position (we ask that you submit two writing samples with your application)
• Strong analytical and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented and collaborative work environment
• Candidates must be admitted to the Washington State Bar
