About The Position

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a top regional law firm to recruit a seasoned and skilled mid-level Litigation Associate to join its national litigation practice in Denver. This firm is selective by design and intentional about long-term hiring. They are seeking an associate they can invest in—someone who wants to grow within a collaborative, tight-knit litigation team while handling sophisticated matters with real ownership and accountability. Only candidates with 3–6 years of solid litigation experience will be considered. In this role, you will manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, with a primary focus on commercial and construction litigation . The position also offers exposure to consumer class action defense, TCPA matters, and labor & employment litigation , making it ideal for litigators who enjoy variety and complexity. You will be trusted with meaningful responsibility early and are expected to operate with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards of precision, judgment, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of litigation experience (ONLY)
  • Strong background in commercial litigation ; construction litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases with minimal supervision
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Law school GPA above 3.2
  • Active Colorado Bar admission
  • At least 2 years of experience practicing in Colorado
  • Stable resume reflecting consistent professional growth

  • Deposition and hearing experience
  • Experience with construction litigation
  • Exposure to: Consumer class action defense, TCPA litigation, Labor & employment matters
  • Experience handling matters in both state and federal court
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and sound legal judgment

Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation matters independently from case inception through resolution
  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and substantive legal memoranda
  • Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery and document management
  • Take and defend depositions with confidence and preparation
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Assist with overall case strategy and client communication
  • Collaborate closely with partners and litigation teams across jurisdictions
  • Maintain strong organization, deadline management, and attention to detail
