Our Miami office seeks a talented Associate with 2+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience, preferred. Background in insurance defense, premise liability, construction, and other complex litigation a plus. Requirements

• Competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
• An intrinsic client-first approach, ensuring impeccable service
• A hunger for growth, a customer-first mindset, and impeccable organizational skills
• Member of Florida Bar in good standing

Responsibilities

• Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients
• Negotiate settlements
• Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
