About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, currently has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 3rd - 4th year Associate in the Litigation group of our Chicago office. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mid to large law firm, along with experience drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts. The candidate must be admitted to the Illinois bar or eligible for admission to the Illinois Bar.

Requirements

• 3rd - 4th year Associate level
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience in a mid to large law firm
• Admission to the Illinois bar or eligibility for admission

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and briefs
