DBL Law is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney. This position will perform general litigation work primarily in the Healthcare Litigation and Medical Liability area. The position is based in our Covington, Kentucky office. Requirements

2 to 4 years of experience practicing civil litigation in state and federal courts.
Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Must be licensed to practice law in Kentucky.

Nice To Haves

Outstanding academic record and civil litigation experience, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare legal briefs and pleadings.
Work with clients in the preparation of discovery responses.
Prepare and argue motions.
Perform legal research and writing.
Take and defend depositions.
Prepare trial materials and assist at pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
Multi-task, meet deadlines, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Independently manage cases.
Handle various aspects of litigation, such as motion hearings, meditations, and depositions.
Respond to administrative charges.
Collaborate with partners and other associates to develop and implement case strategy.
