Job Description Manage a caseload of litigated matters from intake through resolution Drive trial prep: case strategy, discovery planning, records review, witness workups, and client interviews Take and defend depositions and support expert discovery when needed Draft and argue motions and support hearing preparation Conduct legal research and write clear, persuasive briefs Communicate with clients and keep matters moving with urgency and accuracy Collaborate closely with a strong litigation team while owning your assignments

Requirements

  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • 2+ years litigation experience (defense preferred but not required if the experience is comparable)
  • Strong writing, research, and practical judgment in fast-moving cases
  • Confident deposition and motion practice skills (or clear readiness to grow into them)
  • Professional, client-facing communication and the ability to work independently
