About The Position

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Administrative Assistant to join our Charlotte office supporting litigation partners and the Office Managing Partner. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, expert attention to detail, and the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling tight deadlines and adjusting to unscheduled events that may shift priorities at a moment’s notice. We are seeking a dynamic, detail ‑ oriented Litigation Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and firm leadership. In this role, you will prepare engagement letters, revise and finalize correspondence and documents, and provide comprehensive billing support, including reviewing accounts receivable and preparing summaries. Strong proofreading skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and sound judgment are essential. You will oversee email communications, calendars, and scheduling; coordinate meetings and events with internal teams and external clients; and assist with special projects as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a fast ‑ paced environment. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting attorneys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong writing and editing abilities
  • Critical thinking, organization, time management, and leadership skills
  • Well-organized, customer-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities
