About The Position
The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) is seeking a Literacy Teacher, Interventionist, and Coach who will report to the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. This position is responsible for administering literacy assessments, providing direct intervention and reading supports to students who are Blind/Visually Impaired, and offering resources and support for literacy teachers. The role involves utilizing Colorado Academic Standards to establish instructional goals and assess student progress in a safe and civil school environment. The teacher will work with students from Preschool through 12th grade, ensuring that each student's primary literacy mode is supported through appropriate curriculum and intervention materials.
