About The Position

The Liquor Store General Manager 3A position at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) involves supervising and managing operations in state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. Requirements

  • One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B; or
  • Two years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A; or
  • Three years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B; or
  • Four years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A; or
  • Five years of supervisory retail sales work.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage activities in Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores.
  • Implement and apply policy and procedure to store operations.
  • Assign and evaluate work for store staff.
  • Promote good customer relations.
  • Accountable for the entire store operation including sales and maintenance.
  • Maintain records and manage cash accounting.
