About The Position

The Store Associate provides customer service, handles sales transactions, stocks shelves, verifies customer age, and ensures compliance with alcohol sales regulations. This role is part of the Historic Tours of America family, which has been operating tours, attractions, and retail in various cities including Boston, Charleston, Key West, Nashville, San Antonio, San Diego, St. Augustine, Savannah, and Washington, DC since 1980.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old
Valid Bar card or equivalent
Bar Smart Certification
TIPS certification
Successful candidate must undergo a background search

Responsibilities

Greeting customers and assist with locating products
Operates the cash register, processing cash and credit card payments, and provides accurate change
Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol sales
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
