About The Position

We’re hiring for a Liquor Clerk Lead to join our liquor store team! Are you passionate about guest service, teamwork, and creating a welcoming store environment? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dependable Liquor Store Lead/ Key Holder to support our Liquor Manager and Assistant Liquor Manager in the daily operations of our retail liquor store. Requirements

High School or GED Degree and minimum 1 year liquor retail experience.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Assist the Liquor Manager and Asst. Liquor Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the retail Liquor Store. This includes opening and/or closing procedures, running cash register, maintaining inventory levels in top stock and sales floor, transporting merchandise to storage areas and sales floor, stocking shelves and coolers, completing necessary reports, pricing products, housekeeping and loss control.
Promote a guest-focused approach to growth by creating and holding employees accountable to an atmosphere of enthusiastic personalized guest service. Ensure guest service is given highest priority by greeting each guest, offering to help with questions, proactively share product knowledge, and thank them with sincere care and concern that exceeds their expectations. Promptly respond to guest concerns and properly record and report their requests.
Responsible for maintaining employee engagement, retention, managing performance, communication, training and development, and succession planning by building positive employee relations with your team in a way that cultivates self-confidence through product knowledge and enhanced guest service skills within the restaurant. Lead by example, encourage individual & team efforts for providing exceptional service, setting expectations and holding employees accountable.
