About The Position

Responsible for blending raw materials according to specified formulas and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to focus and stay on task
• Basic math skills
• Capability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift
• Adaptability to change
• Willingness to wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirator, and dust mask.
• Ability to pass the respirator fit test

Responsibilities

• Following Blending Instructions: Read and meticulously follow instructions provided on the blending sheet.
• Log lot numbers accurately to maintain traceability.
• Material Preparation: Identify the correct raw materials required for the blend.
• Retrieve the necessary items and prepare the blending area.
• Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure safety, integrity, and product quality.
• Promptly recognize and report any safety issues related to products or equipment.
• Weighing and Mixing: Weigh raw materials according to production orders.
• Blend chemicals precisely based on established guidelines.
• Independent Work and Team Collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Foster good work habits and consistently follow established processes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep blending equipment operational by: Following operating instructions. Troubleshooting breakdowns. Maintaining supplies. Performing preventive maintenance. Requesting repairs when needed.
• Communication and Dependability: Be a team player with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Exhibit punctuality and regular attendance as per company policy.
