About The Position

The position involves Linux/Unix Administration with a primary focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The role requires expertise in hardware and software setup in a Linux RedHat environment, including server configuration, OS installation, updates, and patching. The candidate will be responsible for user and group account setup and maintenance, as well as the setup of remote workspaces and virtual desktops using tools like Citrix and VNC Server/Viewer. Additional responsibilities include hard disk partitioning, managing user and project disk quotas, and the installation and setup of third-party software and EDA tools. Familiarity with cloud compute servers, particularly Microsoft Azure, is also required. The role demands the setup and maintenance of design repositories in both Linux and Windows/MacOS environments, utilizing tools such as GIT and Subversion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 2-6 years' experience in CAD management
