Requirements

  • Security Clearance: An active NSA TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Proven Experience: 3 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience.
  • Versatile Knowledge: Understanding of both physical and virtual server environments.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in researching and creating effective solutions to close IAVA’s.
  • Automation Expertise: Proficiency with Ansible for automation tasks.
  • VMware Environments: Experience in building and maintaining VMware environments.
  • Security Certification: Security+ certification.
  • Education: Extensive Experience: 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Alternative Experience: 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud Experience: AWS experience is a plus.
  • Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Containerization: Docker experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Set Up and Manage Linux Servers: Configure, deploy, and maintain robust Linux server environments.
  • Ensure System Integrity: Apply timely fixes, patches, and upgrades to keep our systems running smoothly.
  • Resolve Complex Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve server-related problems with precision and efficiency.
  • Customer Account Administration: Manage and administer customer accounts to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Implement Monitoring Solutions: Deploy advanced monitoring tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Application and Tool Deployment: Install and maintain applications and tools to support our infrastructure.
  • Customer Support: Assist with escalated customer tickets, providing top-notch support and solutions.
