About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD / Annapolis Junction, MD area. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Linux is required.
• 5 years with a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or 3 years with a Master's degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with minimum of IAT Level 2 is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Experience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Experience supporting IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Optimize system operations and utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
