About The Position

A large Beverage company in Corona, CA is hiring a System Administrator II —the highest technical support layer for their global IT infrastructure. This role is a direct permanent hire and is a great long term Hybrid Remote opportunity! Job Description: Provide operational support for 600 Windows Servers (Windows Server 2016 and newer) and 120 SUSE Linux servers (SLES 12 and SLES 15), including patching, performance monitoring, and ensuring service availability. Manage and upgrade VMware VCenter (v7+) and 40+ ESXi hosts. Administer Omnissa Horizon VDI pools and Remote Desktop Services (RDS). Handle Tier 3 escalations and resolve complex incidents and requests. Perform root-cause analysis and service restoration using tools for backup, restore, failover, log interpretation, and performance monitoring. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for system administration tasks to meet security and compliance requirements. Manage and upgrade Dell EMC Unity storage arrays. Collaborate with development, security, and project teams to implement new systems and services. Create automation scripts and processes to improve scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years as a System Administrator with deep expertise in Windows Server 2016 or newer.
  • 5+ years managing and troubleshooting Linux environments, specifically SUSE Linux (SLES 12 and SLES 15) at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware environments and storage arrays, including VCenter, ESXi hosts, and Dell EMC Unity systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies (Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Services, File Shares).
  • Ability to write advanced PowerShell automation scripts.
  • Experience administering Omnissa/VMware Horizon VDI.
  • Familiarity with Cisco UCS hardware and SAN storage solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
