Linux System Administrator
About The Position
We are seeking a Linux System Administrator with strong automation experience to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux environments and automation using Ansible, including familiarity with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). This role requires someone comfortable managing Linux systems while developing and maintaining automation to improve operational efficiency. This position is available in: Alpharetta, GA Plano or Austin, TX. The role follows a hybrid work model, with employees expected to work in the office a couple of days per week initially; this requirement is temporary.
Requirements
- Strong Linux system administration experience
- Hands-on experience creating and managing Ansible playbooks
- Experience working with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Solid understanding of system automation and configuration management
- Ability to troubleshoot Linux environments and infrastructure issues
- Experience supporting large-scale Linux environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation best practices
- Experience working in collaborative DevOps or infrastructure teams
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux-based systems in enterprise environments
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation
- Utilize Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to manage and scale automation workflows
- Automate system provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Linux server issues
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering teams to improve system reliability and automation practices
- Document processes, automation workflows, and system configurations
