The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs. As a member of the Platforms engineering team, you will perform as the Software Engineer for the COMET Command and Control Tools team (C&C Tools). The C&C Tools team supports NASA's Spaceport Command and Control System (SCCS), used for checkout and launch of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft. The successful candidate will contribute to the platform infrastructure used to test the Launch Control System and launch software supporting the launch for NASA's Artemis program.
