In this position you will work alongside our Linux developers. This team is responsible for the architecture and development of software that will run on the end user devices. You will be part of an awesome team that works with cutting edge technologies. You will collaborate with the broader development department. Architect and develop functional and non-functional requirements. Develop on and for immutable operating systems. As a Linux Engineer/Developer, you will work alongside our Linux developers your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain software applications that run on Linux-based operating systems. Your daily tasks will include: Developing Linux-based applications: You will be responsible for developing software applications that run on Linux-based operating systems using programming languages such as Python, Bash, C, C++, and some Rust. Designing and implementing software solutions: You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the specific requirements of the organization. Integrating with third-party software: You will be responsible for integrating software applications with third-party software, including databases, web servers, and other software systems. Writing and testing code: You will be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging code to ensure that the software applications are functional and meet the requirements of the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and network engineers, to ensure that the software applications meet the needs of the organization. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends: You will be required to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Linux-based software development, including software development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
