Monitor system performance, including hardware, sof tware, and network performance. Perform security audits and implement security measures to protect the organization's data. Ensure high levels of uptime and system availability. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Create and manage system tools for scripts and automation processes.   • Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems.

  • Perform security audits and implement security measures to protect the organization's data.
  • Ensure high levels of uptime and system availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Create and manage system tools for scripts and automation processes.
  • Coordinate with capacity planning and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide technical support and training to users.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and supporting Linux systems
  • Experience with Linux command-line tools and shell scripting
  • Experience with system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Experience hardening Linux systems against STIG or CIS benchmarks
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, and firewalls

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with enterprise device management solutions
  • Experience developing cloud-based server AMI or Managed Image with bundled security tools and required hardening standards through automated means
  • Experience deploying and configuring automated patch management solutions
  • Experience leveraging DevOps tools and scripting development to manage and monitor cloud-based systems
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Possession of excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or LPIC Certification
