About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Linux Administrator. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts, delivering high quality code deliverables for a module, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Highly skilled and motivated in Production Support & Linux Administration.

Nice To Haves

• 4 years of hands-on experience as Production Support Lead with hands-on Linux and Middleware System Administration.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create and setup new environments (Dev/SIT/UAT/PLE/Prod) for applications running on-prem and AWS.
• Leverage automation/tools to copy application components and configurations from reference environments.
• Setup middleware platforms like Weblogic, Tomcat, Wildfly, etc.
• Application configuration and setup.
• Provide production support, install, and deploy based on change requests.
• Handle certificates, keys, and SSL stores.
• Integrate DevOps/CICD processes.
