What you will do: Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation, distribution of clean linen to user departments, pack making and soiled linen pick-up.
Requirements
- Must be able to respond appropriately to written and verbal instructions.
- Computer knowledge desired.
Responsibilities
- folding linen
- Filling linen carts to pre-determined par levels and delivering linen carts to various departments throughout the hospital.
- Restocking linen shelves
- collect soiled linen from different departments
- folding scrubs
- loading the scrub machine
- building Operating Room packs
- keeping the linen department clean and organized.
