The Linen Transporter is responsible for storing and distributing linen for hospital facility. The transporter conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all time, and complies with all HCS and hospital policies. The anticipated salary starts at $16.00 per hour. Requirements

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Excellent ability to understand and use software relevant to the position

Responsibilities

Clean linen distribution: Pack clean linen orders into carts for distribution.
Distribute filled linen carts to appropriate areas within the facility and completely par stock the assigned patient care units/ancillary areas as required.
Soiled linen pickup: Retrieve soiled linen carts from facility areas to soil room/return empty soil carts to areas.
Record Keeping: Record information accurately on all paperwork and input data into tracking program.
Linen room maintenance: Store clean linen on shelves, after verifying numbers and types of items; keeps linen room in clean and orderly condition
